Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process incoming prisoners: searches, property inventory, and documentation.
• Maintain order and safety in cellblocks; conduct inspections.
• Distribute food trays and medications; manage canteen and laundry.
• Transport inmates to court or other locations; escort inmates as needed.
• Perform bed checks, counts, and contraband searches; complete shift paperwork.
• Attend Basic Corrections Academy including defensive tactics and firearms training.
