Glenn Detention Center: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R2658**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Performs administrative duties using the computer and telephone; handles correspondence and memorandums; orders necessary supplies each week; and completes weekly work schedules.* Supervises assigned staff; completes/reviews staff evaluations; attends Command Staff meetings; and medical and mental health transports.* Ensures inspections and spot checks of safety and security functions; makes sure personnel follow protocols.* Performs other duties as assigned.**MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING****VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL PREPARATION****:**.Requires an associate’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience within a correctional environment is required, including at least three to five (3-5) years in a leadership or managerial capacity as a lieutenant or higher, overseeing a detainee population of two hundred (500) or more. Experience working in a detention facility is required.**SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES****:**Must possess and maintain Jail Officer and Jail Management certification from the S.C.
