Job summary

Mastery Logistics Systems is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to own detection engineering and SOAR automation for MasterMind, our Azure-native transportation platform. You will design and tune analytics rules in Microsoft Sentinel, and build automated response workflows to reduce manual triage time while expanding log sources.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in security operations, hands-on SIEM tuning, and experience with Python/PowerShell, REST APIs, and Azure/Azure Defender.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or related security role.
• Hands-on experience building or tuning detection rules in a SIEM (Sentinel preferred).
• Experience building SOAR playbooks or security automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and tune analytics rules in Microsoft Sentinel.
• Build SOAR playbooks to automate triage, enrichment, and response.
• Integrate security tooling via APIs and scripting across the stack.
• Stay hands-on with evolving attacker techniques and platform capabilities.
