Job summary

Hillsdale Fabricators, a premier structural steel fabricator and erector, seeks a Detailing Coordinator I to support the Engineering and Detailing Department. You will prepare detailed drawings and documentation for steel projects, coordinating with engineers, PMs, and field personnel to ensure accuracy and readiness for fabrication and erection.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer drafting or equivalent; 2 years related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, or equivalent software programs is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and offices across North America as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings that meet project specifications and Hillsdale standards.
• Create erection drawings and marking plans for the project.
• Prepare material list requisitions.
• Coordinate with third party detailing and engineering firms.
• Coordinate with other trades related to Hillsdale scope.
• Attend project meetings and shop prep meetings.
