A reputable structural steel contractor in California is recruiting a detail-oriented Checker responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of designs and documents. The successful candidate will have over 7 years of experience in miscellaneous steel detailing and at least 3 years of proficiency in TEKLA software. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, checking for compliance with standards, and collaborating with project teams to resolve discrepancies. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in miscellaneous steel detailing required.
• 3 - 5 years experience as a Checker in a miscellaneous steel environment.
• Knowledge of building codes IBC, ADA, and Title 24.

Responsibilities

• Review fabrication shop and field erecting drawings for accuracy.
• Check Drawings (E-sheets & shop details) for conformity.
• Coordinate resolution of discrepancies with project team.
