Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Associate in Portsmouth, VA to stock Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos and more at local stores. You will drive to stores in your own vehicle, restock shelves, rotate products, and set up displays.

Expect on-the-job training in a high-energy environment with lifting and moving product throughout your shift. The role requires weekend work and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays, and off shifts.
• Have reliable transportation to work.
• Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
• Can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without accommodation.
• Able to lift 15–40 pounds with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned store locations in your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
• Check in and out with the manager on duty.
• Merchandise cases from back room to sales floor and fill display units or shelves.
• Rotate products and remove defective/out-of-date products.
• Tidy shelves and displays, break down boxes, and dispose of waste.
• Assemble and disassemble temporary displays.

Minimum Qualifications

Merchandise local stores with Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, and more, keeping shelves full, fresh, and ready for shoppers.

What You’ll Do

• Drive to assigned store locations in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided while you’re on the clock)
• Check in and out with the manager on duty
• Merchandise cases from the back room to the sales floor, filling display units or shelves with products
• Rotate products and remove defective and out-of-date products
• Tidy up shelves and displays, knock down boxes, and dispose of any waste
• Assemble and disassemble temporary displays
