Group 1 Automotive, Inc.'s Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center is seeking a qualified Collision Detailer. Qualifications

• Reading and following written instructions.

• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Washes vehicle exterior and interior; cleans windows and door jams.
• Vacuums vehicle interiors to remove dirt and debris.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs, and surfaces with appropriate cleaners.
• Applies revitalizers to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabric stains.
• Uses cleaners to remove foreign materials per product guidelines.
• Steam-cleans engine and engine compartment with cleaners.
• Inspects vehicles for dents, scratches, or other defects.
• Restores appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces.
• Applies dressing on tires and wheel wells.

Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail, service and collision. We are looking to add a qualified COLLISION DETAILER to our team.

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down door jams.
• Vacuums interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.
• Applies revitalize and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabric with spot and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation
• Restores appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials.
• Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and following instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
