Job summary

Mankato Motors in Minnesota, part of the Rydell Automotive Group, is seeking an Automotive Detailer for our body shop to help keep vehicles looking their best in a clean, safe environment. This role offers hands-on detailing tasks from washing and buffing to interior cleaning and tire dressing, with opportunities to learn basic appearance repairs and gain valuable automotive experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and wash vehicles before and after body shop repairs
• Occasional buffing and touch ups
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
• Clean engine and engine compartment
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
• Operate all tools in a safe manner
• Willingness to learn basic replacements and appearance repairs
