Job summary

ALL Crane Service / TRY Auto Sales, located in Brook Park, OH, is hiring a Detailer & Buffer to work on mobile cranes, heavy trucks, trailers and other construction equipment in a body shop environment.

Prior detailing and buffing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right detail-oriented person. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Has knowledge of detailing and buffing operations.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on heavy equipment.
• Able to work with ladders, stands, and at various heights.
• Should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, detail and buff cranes, trucks and other construction equipment
• Using power tools, waxes, cleaning solvents, protective coatings, etc. to restore and protect metal surfaces
• Performing specific duties as requested: wet sand to remove scratches, buff dull areas, removing water spots, etc.
• Keeping shop area neat, clean and organized, following all safety procedures and requirements
• May assist in prepping metal surfaces for painting
• Other duties as assigned
