Job summary

Suburban Exotics is seeking a Detailer to maintain vehicle presentation and deliver a world-class customer experience. You will greet customers, protect interiors, and thoroughly clean exteriors and engines to meet high standards.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work quickly in a busy shop, and cooperation with the service team. A valid driver’s license is required; prior detailing experience is a plus. Join us and help vehicles leave showroom-ready.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Automotive detailing experience is a plus but not required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Clean and detail vehicle exteriors and interiors to high standards.
• Inspect vehicles for defects and restore appearance of engine areas, carpets, upholstery, and painted surfaces.
• Prepare and apply vehicle protection packages and treatments.
• Complete all tasks safely following dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Restore vehicles to a like-new appearance whenever possible.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the lot when directed or upon completion of service.
• Review completed work and report concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and parking lots.
• Report safety or security concerns to management.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Detailer who is passionate about vehicle presentation and committed to delivering outstanding results. This role is an important part of our service team and helps ensure every vehicle leaves our dealership looking its absolute best.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Clean and detail vehicle exteriors and interiors to the highest standards.
• Clean engines and engine compartments.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restore the appearance of engine areas, carpets, upholstery, and painted surfaces.
• Prepare and apply vehicle protection packages and treatments.
• Complete all work assignments safely and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Restore vehicles to a like-new appearance whenever possible.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when directed or upon completion of service.
• Review completed work prior to vehicle delivery and notify management of any concerns or quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment, including work areas and parking lots.
• Report any situation that may impact the safety, security, or well-being of customers, employees, or dealership property.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and immediately notify management of any changes in driving status.
