Job summary

Menards Inc. is seeking a Detailer & Groundskeeping professional to join our team. This dual role ensures the aircraft are meticulously cleaned and detailed, while hangars are kept spotless and orderly.

The candidate will work independently, maintain safety standards, and support the Flight Department with general upkeep. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform janitorial tasks and light groundskeeping around hangar perimeters.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of aircraft to identify cleaning needs and create cleaning schedules around flight schedules and aircraft availability.
• Conduct interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of aircraft.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored safely.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Perform janitorial tasks in hangars including offices, break rooms, restrooms and other areas.
• Perform light groundskeeping duties and maintain hangar perimeter tidiness.
• Report maintenance issues to management as found.
• Perform other duties as directed by Flight Department Management.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team as an Detailer & Groundskeeping professional. This is a dual role responsible for ensuring the pristine condition of our aircraft and maintaining the cleanliness and order of our hangars. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and responsible, can work independently without supervision, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform visual inspections of aircraft to identify key areas that require cleaning and create cleaning schedules based around flight schedules and aircraft availability.
• Perform comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of aircraft.
• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored properly and safely.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Perform janitorial tasks throughout the hangars including cleaning office spaces, break rooms, restrooms and other areas as necessary.
• Perform light groundskeeping duties and ensure general tidiness of the immediate hangar perimeters.
• Report any found aircraft or building maintenance issues to management.
• MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties at the direction of Flight Department Management.
