Job summary

JLR Portland is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Detailer/Supervisor to lead daily vehicle-detailing operations while helping maintain the high presentation standards expected of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

This hands-on position combines automotive detailing with team supervision. Schedule is Mon-Fri; compensation is hourly with productivity bonuses.

Qualifications

• Automotive detailing experience required.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to organize work, prioritize vehicles, and meet deadlines.
• Professional communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
• Prepare new, pre-owned, service, and customer vehicles to dealership standards.
• Wash, wax, polish, vacuum, shampoo, and condition vehicles as needed.
• Inspect completed vehicles for cleanliness, quality, and damage.
• Assign work and coordinate the daily workflow of the detailing team.
• Train, coach, and support detail employees.
• Monitor productivity and ensure vehicles are completed on schedule.
• Maintain detailing supplies, tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
