Job summary

Kahlig Auto Group is seeking a Make Ready Auto Detailer to clean, refurbish and detail vehicles after repairs for delivery to customers. The role includes inspecting for imperfections and informing management when repairs are needed, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The job requires the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, good judgment, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, refurbish and detail vehicles for delivery after repair, including exterior, interior, underside, trunk, and engine bay.
• Install pin stripes, decals and emblems as required.
• Polish and wax vehicles as directed.
• Inform management of any imperfections observed.
• Retrieve vehicles from shop or storage and return them as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety regulations.

Job description

Make Ready Auto Detailer will clean; refurbish and detail vehicles sold by the dealership. Will inspect for imperfections in repairs while cleaning the vehicle and will correct imperfection or inform management of the situation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, refurbishing and detailing of vehicles for delivery to customer after repair to include: exterior, interior, underside, trunk area, under hood and more


• Install pin stripes and or decals and emblems as required


• Polish and or wax vehicles as required or directed


• Inform management of, any imperfections


• Retrieve vehicles from and return to shop or storage area


• Ensure that working area is kept clean


• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes


• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers


• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standard


• Inspects quality of work performed to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications:
