Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a part-time merchandiser in Burkeville, VA to stock shelves, set up displays, and keep products fresh. The role requires driving your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement while on the clock and lifting 15–40 pounds as needed. Work Sundays and other weekends with early start times.

Pay is $18.00 per hour, with on-the-job training and a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance are required.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays, as well as off shift.
• You have reliable or personal transportation to work.
• You have a valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
• You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are able to lift 15 to 40 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned store locations in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided while you're on the clock).
• Check in and out with the manager on duty.
• Merchandise cases from the back room to the sales floor, filling display units or shelves with products.
• Rotate products and remove defective and out-of-date products.
• Tidy up shelves and displays, knock down boxes, and dispose of any waste.
• Assemble and disassemble temporary displays.
