Job summary

Applied Medical Technology Inc. in Ohio is hiring for a Detailed Device Assembly role. The position involves assembling PEG devices in a clean, sterile environment and gluing components with pneumatic dispensers and fixtures. Training and cross-functional support are provided.

Description

1st shift - $19.00/hr. For this position, someone that is fully and successfully trained in Mini Button balloon gluing, could receive a raise up to $21.50/hour.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Detailed Device Assembly Position Summary:

Assembly of Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) devices or products using like materials/components/assembly procedures. Detailed Device Assembly employees will work in clean and sterile environment!

Detailed Device Assembly Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Essential Job Functions

  • Physical: Must be able to hear and verbally communicate. Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for hours at a time. Moderate noise level, exposure to high temperature (~400?F) ovens, exposure to isopropanol, limited exposure to physical risk. Ability to handle and manipulate small components. Ability to see items 1/32\" or smaller, good eye-hand coordination, ability to handle repetitive tasks.
  • Lab coats, hair nets, beard covers (if applicable), and shoe covers must be worn, polyethylene gloves must be worn for certain assembly processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
