Job summary

Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte is seeking a Detail Technician to clean, restore, and prep both new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery and display. This role emphasizes pride, quality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

You will wash, wax, vacuum, polish, and protect surfaces, prepare vehicles for showroom presentation, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous detailing experience is preferred but not required; training is available.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash, dry, wax, and detail interior and exterior surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, clean upholstery, and remove stains.
• Clean windows, wheels, tires, and trim.
• Apply protective coatings and polishing compounds when needed.
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery and showroom presentation.
• Maintain the appearance of all vehicles on the lot.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic imperfections and report damage.
• Move vehicles safely within the dealership and service areas.
• Keep detailing equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals with quality.
• Assist with dealership events and vehicle photography as needed.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
