Job summary

Legends Toyota in Kansas City is seeking a Detail Technician for evening hours. You will wash exteriors, clean interiors, inspect for defects, and apply cleaners per product guidelines to keep vehicles show-ready.

The role offers $16.50 per hour, full-time evenings (Mon-Thu 4:00PM–12:00AM; Sat 7:00AM–4:00PM), and a comprehensive benefits package with opportunities for growth within a large automotive group.

Responsibilities

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Inspects vehicles for defects such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Applies cleaners to remove foreign materials using product recommendations and judgment.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaners.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Your Purpose as a Detail Technician (Evening Hours!):

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle
