Job summary

Willis Automotive, a family-owned group based in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Detail Technician to handle interior and exterior vehicle detailing in Granger, IA. You will work under the Detail Manager to ensure high-quality finishes and efficient turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Performs interior and exterior detail work within time and maintenance standards.
• Performs exterior washing of vehicles using car wash equipment and manual labor.
• Responsible for the entire detail process of each vehicle.
• Follows OSHA and safety guidelines and wears required PPE.
• Communicates progress to supervisor on a regular basis.
• Moves vehicles in and out of detail area as needed.

Primary Function:

Under the direction and supervision of the Detail Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of vehicles. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs interior and exterior detail work of vehicles in accordance with time and maintenance standards as set by the company.
• Performs exterior washing of vehicles using both car wash equipment and manual labor.
• Responsible for the entire detail process of vehicle assigned.
• Performs all work within OSHA and company safety guidelines; wears the required personal protective equipment as required by chemical manufacturer.
• Communicates work accomplishments and activities to supervisor on a regular basis.
• Moves vehicles in and out of detail area as needed.
