Job summary

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a detail-oriented Processor to support patient care behind the scenes in a collaborative laboratory setting.

The role involves specimen processing, LIS data entry, and maintaining quality and safety standards, with general lab support and strong teamwork. High school diploma required; phlebotomy credential preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specimen processing: Receiving, identifying, labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing specimens for testing or transport.
• Data management: Entering patient/specimen information into LIS and required software.
• Quality & compliance: Follow procedures, safety standards, HIPAA, and regulations; maintain QA records and logs.
• Laboratory support: Inventory management, stocking, sanitizing work areas, filing, phones, and routine non-technical duties.
• Problem solving: Identify and resolve specimen quality, labeling, or order issues.
• Team collaboration: Support workflow, participate in training, and foster a positive culture.
• Reliability: Maintain punctual and dependable attendance.
