ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities in Louisiana. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous cleaning experience. You should be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
