Job summary

Briarwood Community Living Center is seeking an amazing housekeeper to support our facility's daily operations and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents. You will perform cleaning tasks, monitor supplies, and report maintenance needs with integrity and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to work independently, stand for long periods, and lift up to 20 pounds. Weekend shifts are required; prior care environment experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must meet local health regulations and pass any required physical exam.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors of any damage, deficits, and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices
