Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is recruiting a Cleaner I for a client—Plant Maintenance—in Cranston, RI. The role supports facilities with a strong attention to detail and safety, performing daily cleaning tasks across offices, restrooms, and common areas.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months cleaning experience, can follow standard procedures, and meet a 90-day training sign-off. This onsite position offers a team environment, structured safety practices, and a path to contribute to a well-maintained

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of cleaning work experience.
• Ability to learn assigned responsibilities and follow standard cleaning procedures.
• Proficiency in job responsibilities with the ability to attain training sign-off within 90 days.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and/or move materials up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness or activity, including standing and lifting; capable of following verbal and/or written instruction.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms on the first and second floors, replenishing supplies as necessary and removing refuse to the compactor area.
• Dusts, vacuums, polishes, and performs other cleaning duties for private offices.
• Cleans cafeteria areas including tables, counters, windows, chairs, chair rails, and sinks.
• Washes and cleans whiteboards, tables, counters, and windows in the Taco Learning Center; dusts, vacuums, and polishes to maintain cleanliness.
• Empties waste baskets in offices, ensuring waste is properly separated in compliance with the company recycling program.
