Job summary

Bowser Automotive Inc. is seeking a Detail Lot Attendant to detail and prep pre-owned cars for the showroom and delivery. Attention to detail is required to ensure showroom quality and smooth operations with customers and the sales team.

You will work with the Pre-Owned Sales Manager, inspect for damage, verify accessories, and assist with deliveries and routine shop duties to maintain a clean, organized detail shop.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales Manager of Pre-Owned vehicles.
• Wash vehicles to showroom quality after detailing.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the invoice.
• Record descriptions of damages and notify the Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
• Park vehicles in assigned areas when detailing is complete or ready for delivery.
• Occasionally retrieve or deliver vehicles to other dealerships.
• During winter, keep doorways shoveled and clear snow/ice from cars in the lot.
• Perform tasks as directed by Detail Manager and Pre-Owned Sales Manager.

Bowser Automotive is seeking a Detail Lot Attendant to detail and prep pre-owned cars for the showroom and delivery. Attention to detail is required when cleaning and detailing cars. Internal and external customer relationships are necessary to ensure a smooth operation of the dealership.

The Essential Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales Manager of Pre-Owned vehicles.
• Wash vehicles that are brought to the Detail Shop ensuring showroom quality of every vehicle detailed.
• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice such as spare tires, radio, etc.
• Record description of damages and notify Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
• Park vehicles in assigned areas when detail is completed or ready for delivery.
• Occasionally retrieve and/or deliver vehicles to other dealerships.
• During winter months, keep doorways shoveled, salted and cleared. Also clear snow and ice from cars in lot.
• Perform tasks as directed by Detail Manager and Pre-Owned Sales Manager (ie. emptying trash containers, maintaining order and cleanliness in detail shop, etc.).

Physical Requirements

• Standing/bending/stooping/walking no more than 8 hours per work day.
• Ability to work in wet environment.
• Ability to lift no more than 50 lbs. at a time.
