Job summary

Gentex Corporation seeks a diligent Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe Gentex facilities. You will follow a strict daily schedule, handle indoor and outdoor cleaning, and support restrooms, cafeterias, and plant offices with care and professionalism.

You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with employees and visitors, maintaining a positive, reliable presence on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Custodial/housekeeping experience.
• Good understanding of custodial/housekeeping cleaning materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building, including restrooms and break areas.
• Follow the daily cleaning schedule and complete tasks on time.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties, including waste transport to disposal areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as part of routine cleaning.
• Keep supply levels stocked and restock when needed.
• Respond to requests or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Provide welcoming customer service to all facility users.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
