Gateway Rehab Center in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a part-time Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facility. You will perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal to ensure a healthy environment for staff, visitors, and clients.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
Experience as a cleaning technician or janitor is welcomed but not required.
Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment safely and follow sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and public spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, carpets, and hard surfaces.
Empty trash and dispose of waste according to procedures.
Dust and clean windows, mirrors, desks, furniture and other surfaces.
Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report maintenance or repair needs, including fixtures or lighting issues.
Follow health and safety regulations and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
Ensure compliance with cleanliness policies.
Assist with deep cleaning projects when needed.
