Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Detail Associate to clean exterior and interior of heavy construction equipment to prep for rental. This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and on-site reliability.

You will wash units in the wash bay, assist with disposal of wash water, and support a fast-paced yard environment. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with six months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six (6) months experience or relevant experience; Ability to operate a variety of heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold and wet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors associated with the shop.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal.
• Washes the exterior of the equipment using the wash bay unit.
• Cleans the interior of the equipment using wash bay equipment.
• Operates a variety of heavy equipment to move around the lot and into and out of the wash bay.
• Consistent and reliable on-site attendance.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Detail Associate Physical Requirements

• Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
• Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold andwet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors
• Physically able to mount and dismount equipment continuously throughout the day
• Adheres to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintains individual PPE infunctional condition
