Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT systems integrator to manage the functionality and efficiency of enterprise computer environments across Windows and Linux. You will provide onsite O&M support for a range of devices, coordinate ADPE accountability, and drive end-to-end system integration with stakeholders and developers.

The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, DoD 8140/8570 certification, and the ability to work with Coalition Partner Networks.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret DoD clearance required or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience coordinating IT systems and performing integration across Windows/Linux environments.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to design integrated solutions meeting performance goals.
• Knowledge of DoD IT standards and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages functionality and efficiency of a group of computers across multiple operating systems.
• Provides onsite, hands-on O&M support for client computing devices including PCs, thin/zero clients, laptops and peripherals.
• Coordinates and manages ADPE accountability for new, replacement, and upgrade equipment.
• Tracks lifecycle disposition of equipment via CERP and LCR programs.
• Tests and validates integrated systems; documents configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborates with software developers and system admins to implement integration interfaces and APIs.
• Provides technical support during deployment and post-deployment phases; stays current with emerging technologies in systems integration.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
• Provides onsite, hands‑on O&M support for client computing devices to include personal computers, thin/zero clients, laptops, Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs), and peripherals
• Provides end‑user IT system and software maintenance for the USCENTCOM COOP
• Coordinates and manages Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accountability of new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades
• Tracks the disposition of equipment throughout its lifecycle (e.g., Computer Equipment Replacement Program [CERP] and Life Cycle Replacement [LCR])
• Processes end of life, defective, and/or damaged equipment through the Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO)
• Develops procedures to facilitate management and testing of desktop load set configurations to include tracking and compiling of user issues, software conflicts, device conflicts, and other similar tasks
• As needed, provide CPN and SCO support to Coalition partners, and provide expertise and advice relating to Coalition Partner Networks
• Based on operational tempo 24/7 and holiday support may be required

Requirements

• 1+ Year of relevant technical experience
• Active Top Secret DoD clearance, with willingness and ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
• Applicable DoW 8140 or DoW 8570 Certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
• Performing systems planning and coordinate/connect IT systems
• Expanding and/or modifying established systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow
• Experience working within Windows, Linux, and/or virtual environment
• Establishing standards for information systems procedures
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements and design integrated solutions that meet functional and performance objectives
• Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to implement integration interfaces and APIs
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in functionality or performance
• Document integration processes, including configuration settings, and troubleshooting procedures
• Provide technical support and assistance during the deployment and post‑deployment phases, addressing any integration‑related issues or concerns
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in systems integration, evaluating their potential impact on our integration strategies and recommending adoption where appropriate
• Participate in meetings and workshops to share knowledge and best practices related to systems integration
• Maintain key customer relationships to support strategic tech insertion and lifecycle replacement of IT hardware for the entire IT Enterprise
