RTX Corporation is seeking a System Administrator to deploy, configure, and maintain Windows 11 workstations and related infrastructure onsite at Dulles, VA. The role requires hands-on expertise, strong troubleshooting, and experience with modern endpoint management, security, and automation tools.

The candidate will use Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and PowerShell to manage devices, uphold security, and support ongoing IT operations. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience or advanced degree in a related field.
• Security+ certification.
• One year or more of experience with Windows11.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator on Windows systems to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of Windows 11 workstations and related infrastructure. This role requires hands‑on expertise with Windows11, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with modern endpoint management, security, and automation tools. The position is onsite in Dulles, VA and requires a TS/SCI with active polygraph in order to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows11 operating systems and related hardware/software across the organization.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows11 workstations, including OS, application, and hardware issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies via Active Directory.
• Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar endpoint management solutions.
• Oversee system updates, BIOS/driver updates, and security patches using Windows Update for Business.
• Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response.
• Provide technical support to end‑users, resolve tickets, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Test and validate new hardware for Windows11 compatibility.

Qualifications

• A university degree or equivalent experience and minimum two (2) years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Security+ certification.
• One (1) year or more of experience in Windows11.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (for hardware moves/installs).

Salary range: $75,800 – $144,200 USD. This range is a good faith estimate representing all experience levels.
