Job summary

Leader Bank is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. The role supports end-user technology, deploys and refreshes endpoints, and travels between Falmouth, Needham, and Arlington offices as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS or related field, or significant equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting and maintaining applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, printers, mobile devices, Teams, MFA.
  • Basic networking knowledge: IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.
  • Ability to lift equipment and strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain all Leader Bank authorized applications.
  • First point of contact for end-user technology support; triage issues and escalate when appropriate.
  • Deploy, configure, and refresh endpoints; imaging/re-imaging and workstation setups.
  • Draft and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, and documentation.
  • Maintain asset inventory and support lifecycle tracking for branch equipment.
  • Review systems and recommend improvements; some weekend/off-hour work may be required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

This role may require frequent travel to branch offices to provide onsite support, deployments, and issue resolution.
