Job summary

ATCC is hiring a Desktop Support Specialist to deliver hands-on IT support for end users across desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral technologies. This onsite role is based mainly in Manassas, VA with at least one day per week at Maryland facilities and travel to Gaithersburg and Germantown, MD as required.

You will image, configure, deploy, and support devices, resolve service tickets, and assist with onboarding and asset management in a multi-site corporate environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least 1 year of experience or equivalent.
• Experience providing desktop support and troubleshooting hardware, software, and end‑user technology issues.
• Experience imaging, configuring, deploying, and supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, and common desktop operating systems.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience maintaining IT asset inventories and documenting support activities through ticketing systems.
• Ability to support Windows and Mac environments.
• Preferred: A+ or Net+ Certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose technical issues, perform system repairs and upgrades, run diagnostics, and escalated incidents when appropriate.
• Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and support technology refresh initiatives.
• User Support & Training: Provide guidance and assistance to end users to promote effective and efficient use of technology.
• IT Operations Support: Assist with office moves, equipment setup, and coordination with other IT teams to address incidents and service requests.

This onsite role is based primarily in Manassas, VA with at least 1 day per week based in one of our Maryland facilities and additional travel to ATCC's Gaithersburg and Germantown, MD sites as required. Benefits

The expected salary for this position is $60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
