Role Description The Desktop Support Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Laurel, Mississippi. This role oversees the desktop support team responsible for end-user hardware and software, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades across the health system. The Desktop Support Manager coordinates support requests, monitors service levels, and ensures timely resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime for clinical and administrative staff. Daily responsibilities include managing team schedules, mentoring and training staff, maintaining documentation and asset inventories, and collaborating with IT leadership on standards, security practices, and technology initiatives. The role also participates in evaluating new tools, supporting system rollouts, and continuously improving support processes to align with healthcare operational needs.
