Job summary

The CORE Institute in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an IT/Desktop Support specialist to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based computers and business applications. You will assist with desktop application design and network solutions, and manage printer mappings for clinical systems.

With 1–2 years of IT/Desktop Support experience, you will leverage strong Microsoft Office skills in a mostly remote role with some on-site requirements, while maintaining customer satisfaction and

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the IT/Desktop Support field. Proficient with all Windows operating systems.
  • Must have at least intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
  • Healthcare IT Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based computers and peripherals.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot business applications.
  • Assist with design of desktop applications and network solutions.
  • Create printer mappings for clinical systems and escalate errors as needed.
  • Document daily tasks and create user documentation as needed.
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction and confidentiality.

Job description

  • Install,configure,maintain,and troubleshoot Windows-based computers and various peripheral devices effectively.
  • Install,maintain,and troubleshoot all business applications effectively.
  • Assistwith design of desktopapplication
  • Assistwith design ofwireless and network solutions
  • Create printer mappings for clinical systems.
  • Escalate errors to hardware and softwaremanufacturersas necessary.
  • Manage user errors and requests throughtheIT/Facilitieshelpdesk ticketing system.
  • Document daily tasks and create user documentation as needed.
  • Track company assets through inventorydatabasetimelyand accurately.
  • Understandanddemonstratethemain roleof IT is to help others do their job better, more efficiently, and more securely.
  • Maintaina high levelof customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2years of experience in the IT/Desktop Support field. Proficient with all Windows operating systems.
  • Must have at least intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
  • Healthcare IT Experience is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of how tooperateand troubleshoot computer equipment.
  • Knowledge of Telephony systems programming, documentation,and process creation.
  • Knowledge of asset and time management skills toassistthe department.

  • Skill in organizing tasks/work orders.
  • Skill in using customer service skills in dealing with frustrated users.

  • Ability to troubleshoot common desktop and user problems and develop resolution strategies.
