LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Desktop Support Co-Op to provide hands-on IT support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers. You will help end users, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with experienced technologists in a dynamic team.

The role is open to currently enrolled undergrad or graduate students graduating between Dec 2026 and Dec 2028, on-site in Raleigh with 19 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install desktop and laptop systems, including data migration and software installation.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to support problem resolution.
• Monitor IT infrastructure issues using monitoring tools.
• Assist with other duties as assigned in the Dayton office collaboration context.

About the Role

The Desktop Support Co-Op provides hands-on technical support to employees across desktop, laptop, mobile device, and printer technologies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a student to build practical IT experience while supporting end users, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with experienced technology professionals in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This role is open to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students graduating between December 2026 and December 2028. This role is based in Raleigh, NC, with no relocation assistance provided.

Conditions of Co-Op: This position requires U.S. citizenship based on applicable regulatory, contractual, or security requirements. Location: Raleigh, NC Work Style: On-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install desktop and laptop systems, including data migration, software installation, and end-user support.
• Provide general end-user support for enterprise desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Resolve technical issues involving hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, and connectivity.
• Participate in the resolution of desktop computer issues, including hardware and printer troubleshooting, software installation, hardware peripherals, and daily backup procedures.
• Liaise with third-party software and hardware vendors to support problem resolution.
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure operating issues using software and hardware monitoring tools.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for hardware, software, telecommunications, business applications, and customer connectivity issues as assigned.
• Collaborate with other technical support roles in the Dayton office and assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Be a currently enrolled student working towards an Associate’s or advanced level education in IT, MIS, CS, Business, or a related field of study.
• Demonstrate a customer-focused approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Possess basic technical and troubleshooting skills with Windows, Mac, and iOS.
• Understand what AI is, be able to discuss common AI tools, and recognize potential workplace applications of AI.
• Demonstrate good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Be available to work 19 hours per week while taking classes.
• Be able to work on-site in our Raleigh, North Carolina office.
