Vince in Los Angeles is seeking a Designer for Women’s Sweaters to create compelling, brand-right pieces across seasonal deliveries. You will conduct color and trend research, sketch and develop tech packs, and guide fittings in development and production.

The role requires 3–4 years in sweater design within knitwear, a collection mindset, and strong presentation skills for senior management. Expect fast-paced work with cross-functional teams and potential overseas travel.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience in sweater design.
• Experience in knitwear with a proven track record.
• Able to meet deadlines and work in a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Collection-based mindset and understanding of contemporary knitwear.
• Ability to present to senior management with confidence.
• Deep knowledge of knitwear industry.
• Detail-oriented and a strong self-starter.
• Ability to work under pressure with shifting priorities.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Deadline orientated. Follow up and coordinate all ongoing projects in order to meet stated deadlines.
• Overseas travel may be required.

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:

• Must have worked with in Knitwear with a proven track record.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a team environment.
• Must have contemporary experience and have worked in a fast pace environment.
• Must have a collection based mind set and an understanding of the contemporary Knitwear business.
• Must be able to present to senior management with confidence and a point of view.
• Must have full working knowledge of Knitwear Industry.
• Must be detail oriented and a strong self-starter.
• Ability to work under pressure in an environment of constant shifting priorities and change
• Must have excellent working knowledge of excel, Illustrator and Photoshop.
