Job summary

Gensler is seeking a senior interior design/architecture leader for science and higher education projects in the Boston area. You will drive design concepts, mentor teams, and act as the primary client interface, collaborating with consultants and cross-functional colleagues to advance innovative, evidence-driven design solutions.

You will direct space planning, finishes and furniture selections, produce presentation documentation, and contribute to business development while ensuring project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design or architecture.
  • 5-10 years of design leadership of interior design and/or architecture projects; healthcare or science projects preferred.
  • NCIDQ in process preferred.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Strong visualization skills a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other computer design programs.
  • Portfolio of science or higher education projects showing a range of interior and base building projects.
  • The base salary will be estimated between $80-115k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.

  • Review drawings, mockups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors

What You Will Do

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design or architecture
  • 5-10 years of design leadership of interior design and/or architecture projects; recent healthcare or sicence project experience is required
  • NCIDQ in process preferred
  • LEED accreditation are preferred
  • Strong Visualization skills a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and other computer design programs
  • Must have a portfolio of science or higher education projects. Ideally project portfolio will show a range of interior and base building projects for a variety of designs.
  • The base salary will be estimated between $80-115k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
