Position Summary

The Designer II will develop Calvin Klein Underwear aligned with company directives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product fit and execution, and understanding customer needs to drive sales.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Research and develop concepts, colors, fabrics, and trims for Calvin Klein Lounge, including Performance, On-the-Go, and Lifestyle categories, in collaboration with design leadership and cross-functional teams.
  2. Analyze market trends to inform design decisions.
  3. Create innovative, trend-right, and saleable underwear products to boost sales.
  4. Coordinate with raw materials and sourcing teams to produce high-quality products within timelines.
  5. Develop and present design ideas to leadership and regional teams.
  6. Prepare development packages for underwear collections.
  7. Partner with technical design to create tech packs and during fit sessions.
  8. Supervise fittings from prototypes to samples, ensuring design and quality standards.
  9. Follow up on preproduction details like color, fabric, and trims to maintain quality.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of underwear design experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Web PDM/PLM systems.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and technical skills.
  • Aesthetic sensibility and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong color matching skills.
Internal & External Contacts

Collaborate with design directors, supply chain, raw materials, technical teams, and global merchandisers internally; work with regional suppliers externally.

Decision-Making & Creativity

Make daily production decisions affecting quality; collaborate on design direction; maintain high-quality design packages; handle multiple seasons; adapt designs to meet sales and business needs; stay organized and detail-oriented; be highly creative and flexible.

Work Environment & Compensation

Willing to work late and travel domestically. Salary: $95,000 - $120,000, plus bonus eligibility. PVH offers competitive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), flexible work arrangements, wellbeing programs, and employee discounts.
