Job summary

Lionakis in Sacramento is seeking a Designer II to join our healthcare team. You will support project teams with BIM/CAD, Revit, and massing concepts, while maintaining project records and adhering to design standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, timely delivery, and ongoing professional growth. The ideal candidate has at least a bachelor’s degree in architecture and 2+ years of experience, with healthcare project exposure and proficiency in Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent with at least 2 years of architectural project experience.
• Proficient with Revit; healthcare project experience is a plus.
• BIM/CAD production standards knowledge and ability to interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide BIM/CAD support to project teams; interpret and produce BIM/CAD drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, or notes from project leads.
• Provide Revit software support to project teams.
• Demonstrate understanding of plans, sections, elevations; assist with concept design of basic massing, plans, sections, elevations, and detailing concepts.
• Show time management, organization, and collaboration; complete tasks on schedule.
• Produce and update project records in support of studio project management.
• Adhere to Lionakis Way standards of design, quality control, and production.
• Conduct and apply project research; basic outline specifications coordination as directed.
• Develop presentation materials to support projects or marketing efforts.
• Assist project team and market/studio leadership with other duties as assigned.

As the Designer II, you will…

• Provide BIM/CAD support to project teams; interprets and produces BIM/CAD drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, or notes from project leads.
• Provide Revit computer software support to project teams.
• Demonstrate an understanding of plans, sections, and elevations. Assist with concept design of basic massing, plans, sections, elevations, and basic detailing concepts.
• Understand and exhibittime management skills and completetasks accurately and on schedule. Demonstrate organizational skills, bedetail-oriented and collaborative.
• Produce and keepcurrent on project records in direct support of studio project management.
• Adhere to The Lionakis Way standards of design, quality control, and production.
• Conduct and applyproject research; basic outline specifications coordination as directed.
• Develop presentation materials to support projects or marketing efforts.
• Assist project team and market/studio leadership with other duties that may be assigned.

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years architectural project experience
• Professional workexperience with healthcareprojects (HCAI/OSHPDexperience a huge plus)
• Proficient with Revit
• Sketch-Up or other graphic program(s) such as InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Salary Range:

$70,000-$86,900 annually. Compensation and level DOE.
