The Designer II at SIG SAUER, Inc. develops moderately complex new part designs and improves legacy products, working with Design Engineers, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Assembly teams.
You will create robust CAD models in SolidWorks, prepare ASME Y14.5 drawings, manage changes through PLM, support prototype parts, and assist in testing while traveling infrequently.

The Designer II is responsible for developing and implementing moderately complex new part designs and improving legacy products as assigned. The mid-level Designer II will be attentive to detail while completing tasks assigned by Design Engineers and/or the Manager, Design Engineering, with limited guidance needed. Working both independently and in a team environment, the Designer II will collaborate with R&D team members as well as with other departments including Manufacturing, Quality and Assembly.
