Perkins&Will Los Angeles is seeking a Designer I to join our innovative studio. As a Designer I you will assist throughout the design process, support schematic design, and contribute to client presentations while working under supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor's in architecture, 0–3 years of experience, and proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and software including Revit. The position is full-time, hybrid in Los Angeles, with competitive pay and a robust benefits package.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline required.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred.
• Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Excel, Lumion, and Rhino proficiency.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn.
• Collaborative and professional work ethic.
• LEED GA within 6 months of hire; Living Design accreditation; AXP/ARE process involvement.

Responsabilidades

• Provides assistance throughout the design process under routine guidance.
• Supports preparation of creative design ideas and concepts with the team.
• Provides design support under supervision for schematic design and construction documents.
• Performs product research and assists with material selections.
• Assists in preparing client presentation materials using design applications.
• Communicates ideas to inspire others and coordinates with partners and consultants.
• Participates in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
• Maintains open communication with team leaders and project teams.
