Ford, Powell & Carson, Architects & Planners Inc. (FPC) is an award-winning, legacy architecture firm located in San Antonio, Texas. Your Role

We are looking for a talented, experienced designer or architect to join our team. Architects/designers are fully integrated into project teams from conceptual design through construction administration. Designers are expected to exhibit confidence and a strong collaborative attitude. Flexibility, initiative, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude are important qualities we look for. Candidates must exhibit a strong graphic sensibility, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external parties.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Professional degree in architecture
  • Experience: 3 or more years of related work experience
  • Licensure: Preferred but not required
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to develop conceptual designs into detailed documents that support the design.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and preference for experience with Enscape.
  • Certification, or interest in certification, in LEED or WELL.
  • Experience (work experience, degree, or certificate) with historic preservation, urban planning, or sustainability is a bonus.
