The Designer I will use engineering systems and drawings to coordinate projects and provide structural design services for customers, while collaborating with project teams to meet schedules. Responsabilités

• The Designer I uses engineering systems and drawings to provides project coordination and structural design services and models for customers.
• Provides well utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customer's requirements.
• Assures building's structural integrity and safety.
• Develops own basic product and procedure knowledge and improve technical knowledge.
• Focuses on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work team.
• Assures customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedules.
• Collaborates with project teams to discuss problems and challenges and help create solutions to move forward in a cost effective and efficient manner.
• Provides technical assistance to customers on specific projects.

Pay & Benefits

The expected pay scale for this role is $70,000- $83,000 annually, depending on experience, skill set, and qualifications.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for annual bonus, health, and welfare benefits and 401(k) match in accordance with BlueScope policies.

The benefits are just as rewarding as the work at BlueScope. To support our goal, we offer a total compensation plan and an outstanding benefits package that includes health insurance, life insurance, short and long term disability, paid time off, and retirement.
