Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Knowledge of print production methods and print-ready work.

Reporting directly to the assigned Executive Creative Director/Creative Director, the Graphic Designer roll is within DI's Creative Studio. The position requires demonstrated qualifications and skill set to contribute successful graphic design solutions to our many projects- spanning across diverse industry verticals including pro and collegiate sports, museums, corporate branding and beyond.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS May Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Develops visual design and/or layout across multiple print and digital mediums and platforms
  • Supports and contributes to the Project Team's executed design solution and deliverables on assigned projects
  • Executes and delivers project-based solutions with speed and quality, while incorporating and maintaining Project Leadership's direction and feedback
  • Contributes to client presentations and communications as assigned
  • Understands project deadlines and milestones
  • Ensures brand guidelines and standards are met
  • Interfaces directly with internal departments to learn and understand potential solutions
  • Exudes a \"Go where needed' attitude and outlook on role
  • Participates in process improvement and best practices within the department
  • Focuses on learning and absorbing new information and knowledge from DI subject matter experts (design team members and support staff, DI team members, clients, etc.)
  • Supports the success of studio team members
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Demonstrate a strong proficiency in design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Sketchup), research skills (for storytelling)
  • Ability to storyboard, visualize and articulate concepts for others
  • Ability to learn new skills and software quickly

Education/Certifications/Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.F.A) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Industrial Design, Interior Architecture or related field
  • Knowledge of print production methods
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, or crawl
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • Employee must be able to talk and hear
