Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Palm City, FL is seeking an entry-level engineer for product design and development. The role involves creating engineering change requests, designing products using Creo, and collaborating on technical support requests. Ideal candidates should have a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and experience with 3-D modeling. Benefits include paid time off and comprehensive medical coverage. Essential Functions

• Create Engineering Change Requests to document required changes against existing products
• Product design using Creo
• Revise engineering drawings as required to maintain legacy product data
• Support configuration changes based on new sales to customers
• Support builds on the production floor
• Support internal and external technical help requests
• Conceptual design of new products and ideas to improve existing products
• Prototype construction and testing
• Materials/parts research and selection for use in product designs
• Create drawing packages
• Create and validate new designs (modeling/analyzing/drafting/BOM creation)
• Mark up drawings and create redlines for engineering incorporation
• Interpret and apply geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
• Support development and qualification testing
• Support evaluation of product non-conformities
• May require work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary to meet program objectives and deadlines

Education, Certifications, and Experience

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Material Sciences or related fields
• 0-3 years’ experience in engineering or related industry, aerospace preferred

• Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
