Job summary

Hovercraft is seeking a seasoned designer to originate bold concepts within brand systems and collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team on a variety of immersive and digital experiences.

You will take ideas from concept through final handoff, develop original design directions, and refine work with strong attention to detail. A portfolio demonstrating skills in illustration, animation, or spatial design will be highly valued, with a proactive, organized approach in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong portfolio showing solid fundamentals, attention to detail, inventive design thinking and high-level execution in brand experience work
• A collaborative team player that is highly motivated, pro-active and positive.
• Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines across multiple projects in a remote work setting.
• Illustration, animation or spatial design side hustles

The Role

The salary range for this position is starts at $60 hourly. Hourly rate is determined by a combination of factors that include qualifications, applicable skills, relevant experience and other budgetary considerations such as location/geography.

Hovercraft is a remote-first company, working primarily on Pacific and Mountain time. You must be eligible to work in the US as a 1099 contractor.
