Strada Education Foundation is looking for a detail-oriented Designer to join CredLens in Washington, DC. This hybrid role involves working closely with design systems to ensure polished and on-brand productions across digital and print.
Ideal candidates should have proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, along with organizational skills to manage files and uphold design standards. A portfolio demonstrating attention to detail is required for consideration.
CredLens is looking for a detail‑oriented, production‑savvy Designer to join our small but mighty mission‑driven team in Washington, DC. This is a hands‑on execution role – and we mean that in the best possible way.
Our core design system, component library, and brand templates are well established. Your job is to work fluently within those systems, maintain quality across every touchpoint, and help us produce polished, on‑brand work at pace. Over time, as you grow into the role, there is real opportunity to take on more creative ownership and contribute to how those systems evolve.
You will report directly to our design lead, giving you a close mentorship relationship and clear direction from day one. We are looking for someone eager to learn, highly organized, and genuinely proud of the craft – whether that means perfecting the spacing on a slide deck or making sure a Webflow page renders beautifully on mobile.
This is a hybrid role based in Washington, DC – two days a week in office, flexible on which days. We aim to move quickly and have someone on board by late July or early August 2026.
CredLens actively integrates AI tools into our design workflow. We use Claude to generate and critique UX and UI concepts, explore layout alternatives, and pressure‑test design decisions before committing to them. We also use generative image tools and AI‑assisted features within our existing Adobe and Figma toolsets.
We are not looking for someone who has mastered every AI tool – the landscape is moving too fast for that to mean much. We are looking for someone who is curious and open to working this way, and who sees AI as a collaborator in the design process rather than a threat to it.
A portfolio is required. We are not evaluating you on the complexity or scale of past projects – we want to see your eye for detail, your ability to work within constraints, and evidence that you care about quality at every level of the work. Student projects, freelance work, and internship outputs are all welcome.
Non‑degree credentials are reshaping how people move from learning to earning. Millions of learners are pursuing certificates, bootcamps, and workforce programs as pathways to better jobs and higher wages. But growth has outpaced clarity.
Thousands of offerings, uneven definitions, and fragmented outcomes data make it nearly impossible to distinguish impact from activity. When results are unclear, learners carry the risk, strong programs can’t stand out, and investment can’t reliably flow to what works.
CredLens exists to fix that.
We are a neutral, trusted source of high‑quality outcomes data for non‑degree credentials – connecting issuer‑verified credential records to real‑world employment, earnings, and education outcomes. Our partners use that data to improve programs, guide investment, and strengthen career pathways for learners.
Two years in, we have a firmly established platform, a growing client base, and the backing of Strada Education Foundation. We are not a startup finding its footing. We are a company beginning to scale – and we are building the team that will take us there.
Committed to providing equitable pathways to opportunity through postsecondary education and training (PSET), particularly for individuals who have faced significant barriers. Demonstrated alignment with CredLens' guiding values, commitment to building a strong and healthy workplace culture, and working in a collaborative environment.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to CredLens' organizational vibrancy, employee experience, and mission. We strongly encourage applicants from people of color/the global majority, immigrant, bilingual, and bicultural individuals; people with disabilities, members of the LGBTQIA2S+ and gender non‑conforming communities; and people with other diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. We believe every member on the team enriches our workplace by exposing us to a broad range of ways to understand and engage with the world, identify challenges, and discover, design, and deliver critical insights and solutions.
