Job summary

Jobtailor in Seattle is seeking a seasoned designer to lead Seasonal Brand Design Direction for the assigned area, conducting trend and competitive research and owning concept and design for product lines.

You will research materials, collaborate with the print team, color the line, create visual storytelling tools, and build cross-functional partnerships to deliver Nordstrom-brand products that exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in design industry.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe CS (required).
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Ability to hand-sketch.
• Able to quickly adapt to new technology and systems.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong understanding of industry and trends within your assigned categories.
• Portfolio of work required (PDF or link) in addition to resume.
