urban is hiring a Designer III to join a bold, collaborative interiors team on a contract or temp-to-perm basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in design development, storytelling, and shaping environments that wow – across hospitality, lifestyle, and wellness sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own design phases from concept to final presentation
• Interpret client briefs and translate them into stunning spatial solutions
• Present internally and externally, with confidence and creativity
• Guide junior designers and support a fast-moving studio workflow
• Coordinate renderings, prototypes, and consultant input

What You Bring

• 6+ years of design experience in interiors or architecture
• A strong visual sensibility and excellent presentation skills
• Advanced in SketchUp and Enscape; Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Experience across hospitality, F&B, or lifestyle projects ideal
• Detail-oriented, communicative, and able to work independently

Hourly-based freelance contract with option to become permanent.

On-site in Chicago with creative studio culture.

Quick start preferred.
