Job summary

Ikon Software Services LLC is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to create and refine complex 3D models using Siemens NX and Teamcenter. The role requires deep NX proficiency, GD&T, and meticulous documentation review.

You will manage CAD data in Teamcenter, produce precise 2D drawings, and collaborate with engineering teams to meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving and independent work abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience using Siemens NX with Teamcenter.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience working as a CAD Designer.
• Proficiency in NX 1980 CAD, including interview demonstration via Zoom.
• Strong experience creating complex 3D CAD models using advanced modeling features.
• Proficiency in creating 2D engineering drawings with GD&T standards.
• Experience managing CAD data and revisions using Teamcenter.
• Ability to review design specifications, dimensions, and technical documents for accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and with engineering teams.

Job description

• Demonstrated proficiency in NX 1980 CAD, including the ability to demonstrate skills during an interview conducted through the Zoom meeting platform.
• Strong experience creating complex 3D CAD models using advanced modeling features.
• Proficiency in creating 2D engineering drawings with appropriate GD&T standards and applications.
• Experience managing CAD data, design files, and revisions using Teamcenter.
• Ability to review design specifications, dimensions, and technical documentation for accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work within tight project deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering teams.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to perform CAD design activities at a computer workstation for approximately eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week. Essential requirements include:

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work continuously at a computer workstation.
• Frequent and repetitive use of a keyboard, mouse, and other computer input devices.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements associated with CAD design activities.
• Ability to visually inspect detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, dimensions, and technical information on computer monitors for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively in a standard office or engineering workstation environment throughout the scheduled workday.
