Job summary

Colorado State University seeks part-time instructors to teach in the Interdisciplinary Design Thinking Program, in both face-to-face and online formats, and to oversee Lab Technicians in our Fabrication Labs. The RDC hosts multiple design-thinking programs and facilities for students across campus.

The position supports the Richardson Design Center’s mission to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and hands-on learning with state-of-the-art equipment and spaces for prototyping and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 2-years industry experience in an appropriate discipline.
• Master's Degree or Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline.
• Preferred qualifications include demonstrated success developing and teaching university and/or professional development courses.
• Experience using design thinking processes and methods.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate design thinking courses in face-to-face and online formats.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback.
• Support Fabrication Lab activities as assigned.
