Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Design Technology Manager to lead a team of Design Technologists focused on generative AI tools, creative workflows, and technical innovation for éShop. You will drive architecture and prioritization from concept to production, collaborating with product, engineering, science, and operations to deliver scalable, production-ready AI-enabled content and experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
7+ years as Design Technologist / Creative Technologist or similar.
3+ years of people management experience.
Experience with AI and generative interfaces and production data.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Design Technologists focused on AI tools, creative workflows, automation, and backend innovation.
Set priorities, manage capacity, and allocate resources across short-term delivery and long-term goals.
Enable end-to-end ownership by removing blockers and creating structures for independent team delivery.
Partner with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into scalable solutions.
Manage scope, commitments, and tradeoffs across usability, quality, and production readiness.
Establish workflows, SLAs, and best practices.
